Some material...

Today I'd like to share you some of my favourite leathers and papers.

These are the leathers I currently have.

I started making my own paste paper. Here's a sample:

But I also have some Tassoti and Bomoart papers, which I love.

Thanks for reading!

Budgets

1. Springback full leather/half leather, Tomoe River (400 sheets/800 pages counting both sides). It is a bookbinding style very resistant that lays flat and has a lovely old book look. It can be customized in the following ways: leather color (ask for the colors available), gold or silver gilding (below you can see the available stamps), blind tooling (also, check available stamps below), name gilding or tooling (check available fonts below), endpapers, combination of colors for the headbands and the bookmark and size of the journal (max. approximately 21 x 15 cm, 8.26 x 5.9 inches, because this is the size of the Tomoe River paper once signature). All the customization is already included in the price. The price for this type of journal $145.
It includes a handmade matching box.

2. French Binding full leather/half leather, Tomoe River (300 sheets/600 pages counting both sides). This type of binding is somewhat simpler than Springback, but is still a wonderful hardbound binding with a more modern touch. It doesn't open as well as the Springback or the Ethiopian, but it still opens pretty well. It can be customized in the following ways: leather color (ask for the colors available), gold or silver gilding (below you can see the available stamps), blind tooling (also, check available stamps below), name gilding or tooling (check available fonts below), endpapers, combination of colors for the headbands and the bookmark, size of the journal (max. approximately 21 x 15 cm, 8.26 x 5.9 inches, because this is the size of the Tomoe River paper once signature) and the inclusion or not of an elastic band. All the customization is already included in the price. The price for this type of journal $85.
(This one is made with cloth, but the one I would make for you would be on leather.)

3. Gatz’ Ethiopian Binding full leather/half leather, Tomoe River (300 sheets/600 pages counting both sides). It is a more casual style of binding that can open 360º, while keeping a classy look, perhaps the ideal type to carry around. It can be customized in the following ways: leather color (ask for the colors available), gold or silver gilding (below you can see the available stamps), blind tooling (also, check available stamps below), name gilding or tooling (check available fonts below), endpapers, size of the journal (max. approximately 21 x 15 cm, 8.26 x 5.9 inches, because this is the size of the Tomoe River paper once signature) and the inclusion or not of an elastic band. All the customization is already included in the price. The price for this type of journal $70.

4. Linkstitch full leather, Tomoe River (300 sheets/600 pages counting both sides). A versatile soft cover type of binding, one of the most popular styles of binding. It’s a wonderful type of binding for journaling outdoors or to use as a travel journal. It lays flat open. It can be customized in the following ways: leather color (ask for the colors available), gold or silver gilding (below you can see the available stamps), blind tooling (also, check available stamps below), name gilding or tooling (check available fonts below) and size of the journal (max. approximately 21 x 15 cm, 8.26 x 5.9 inches, because this is the size of the Tomoe River paper once signature). All the customization is already included in the price. The price for this type of journal $60.
